  • When you use our Email Subscription: Dogra Advisors uses the information you provide, such as your name and email address, to provide subscription services.  
  • Our career portal: Dogra Advisors collects your personal, education, and employment information when you upload your CV and submit an application for a role at Genpact via our Careers page.

  • Email communication: When you receive Dogra Advisors’ marketing communications, the Company will track when you receive, open, click a link in, or share an e-mail you receive from Dogra Advisors. You are free to unsubscribe from Dogra Advisors’ marketing communications anytime.
  • Information from other sources: Depending on your relationship with Dogra Advisors, the Company may receive information about you from other sources, which include but are not limited to data vendors, consulting firms, background check service providers, auditors, and social media to ensure the completeness and accuracy of your personal data.

How Dogra Advisors protects your personal data

Dogra Advisors lays great importance to the protection of your personal data and your right to privacy. The intention is to make you to feel secure that when you deal with Dogra Advisors, your personal data is safe.

The Company protects your personal data complying with applicable laws and our data privacy policies. In addition, Dogra Advisors maintains the appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your personal data against unlawful or unauthorized processing and/or against accidental loss, disclosure, alteration, or access, or unlawful or accidental destruction of or damage thereto.

How Dogra Advisors uses personal information

Security

Dogra Advisors implements industry standard security measures to keep your personal data secure and confidential, including but not limited to:

  • Limiting access to your personal data to Dogra Advisors employees strictly on a need-to-know basis only, such as responding to a request or inquiry.
  • Implementation of electronic, physical, administrative, technical and procedural safeguards that accord to applicable legislation, rules, laws, and regulations to protect your personal data from unauthorized or inappropriate access, disclosure, alteration, and/or destruction. It is imperative that you also make every effort to protect your password as well as computer from unauthorized access. Make sure you sign off when you are done using a shared computer.
  • Disciplinary action against Dogra Advisors employees who misuse personal data, which is a grave violation of Dogra Advisors policies.

How Dogra Advisors shares your personal data

The personal data Dogra Advisors collects from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties. However, these third parties have access to or use your personal data for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.  

Dogra Advisors shares your personal data with service providers that, depending on your relationship with the Company, may include but is not limited to administration support providers and cloud service providers. Personal data which is shared with these service providers is for business purposes only.

Dogra Advisors has operations in USA and India and we share information between our group companies for administrative and business purposes.  

Where needed or permitted by law, information may be furnished to others, such as, but not limited to enforceable government directives and regulators.

From time to time, Dogra Advisors will consider corporate transactions such as an acquisition, merger, asset sale, reorganization, or similar transaction. In these instances, the Company may transfer or permit access to information for enabling the assessment and undertaking of that transaction. If we buy or sell any assets or business, personal data may be transferred to the involved third parties in the transaction. In these instances, Dogra Advisors will continue to ensure the protection of your personal data and the Company will provide any impacted data subjects notice prior to transfer of any personal data or data being subject to a different privacy policy.

Data storage and retention

Dogra Advisors will retain your personal data in line with business purposes and our retention policies. We will only maintain your personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary, considering the purposes outlined above or to comply with accounting, legal, or reporting requirements under applicable law(s).

To determine the approximate retention period of personal data, we take into consideration the nature, amount, and sensitivity of the personal data, the possible risk of harm from unauthorized use or revelation of personal data, the purposes for which we process the personal data, and whether those purposes can be achieved through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

We will retain personal data from prospective customers for the duration of the prospective customer’s business relationship with Dogra Advisors and in compliance with our Data Protection Policy.

Automated profiling

Dogra Advisors uses automated profiling in limited circumstances relating to email campaigns. As part of our email campaigns, we track when you receive, open, click a link in, or share an e-mail you receive from Genpact using a Genpact managed automated solution. The automated solution profiles the information tracked to evaluate your interest in Genpact’s service offerings and/or promotions. This enables us to identify and target potential customers and/or business partners and aims to provide you with relevant and timely content based on your indicated interests.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

This privacy policy was last updated in December 2022 and Dogra Advisors may make changes in the policy as and when required. In this context, we would recommend that you to check this notice from time to time for any updates.
